About The Position

Moog Space and Defense Group is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their team. This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager and has a hybrid work schedule based in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Sales Administrator will be the primary contact for domestic and international customer accounts, responsible for time-sensitive responses to customer inquiries. This position involves dealing with complex contracts and technical products for the Space & Defense markets as part of a business development team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in word processing, databases, and enterprise systems; familiarity with ERP or CRM systems preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, sales teams, and colleagues
  • Able to manage time efficiently by prioritizing tasks, setting goals, and creating systems to achieve them
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with ERP or CRM systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Enter and administer quotes in CRM and load contracts / orders in LN / SAP.
  • Manage customer accounts and contribute to schedule / production meetings.
  • Be responsible for data collection and report preparation for internal and external submissions.
  • Complete project management tasks targeting goals that improve organization performance.
  • Partner with company personnel, field sales personnel and main customers to support the sales function.
  • Deal with complex contracts and technical products for the Space & Defense markets as part of a business development team.
