About The Position

Sale and Service Team Members build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, engaging with customers, and advising them on products. Although the role generally focuses on sales, team members may also be assigned merchandising, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, this position is referred to as Service Team Member and reports to the store management team. The role includes supporting inventory and digital operations, providing personalized customer experiences, developing knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, and maintaining store safety and cleanliness. Team members must comply with laws and regulations related to alcohol sales. Delivery duties apply if delivery is added as an essential job function. This is a seasonal position. Seasonal employment is short term, no longer than six months, and team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The hourly pay range is $14.31–$20.03. The actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage and may vary based on factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One to three years of work experience; one or more years of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, provide personalized service, and inform customers about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally while following company policies and procedures and traffic and safety laws.
