About The Position

Caring Transitions of Englishtown & Marlboro is hiring a part-time Estate Sale & Auction Team Member for its liquidation team in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The role involves preparing CTBids online auctions and estate sales by sorting, photographing, documenting, staging, and tracking merchandise. The team member works under the Liquidation & Cleanout Team Lead alongside other auction and estate sale crew members. Flexible part-time shifts are available, including occasional weekends.

Requirements

• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Basic smartphone photography skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and follow production goals.
• Interest in resale, antiques, collectibles, or secondhand merchandise.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and carry merchandise, stage displays, and work in residential properties, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Estate sale, retail, photography, or online resale experience; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Sort, group, and stage merchandise into auction lots.
• Photograph items and document brands, quantities, and condition.
• Produce approximately 4–5 standard photo-ready lots per hour, adjusted for complexity.
• Assist with premium estate sale pricing, staging, and displays.
• Prepare value-focused estate sales using organized, unpriced merchandise displays.
• Identify potentially valuable items for supervisor review.
• Track inventory and follow merchandise security procedures.
• Assist with estate sale setup, checkout, and breakdown.
