About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Safety Partner for the Emergency Department. The role assists in providing a safe hospital environment conducive to individualized patient care for patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, agitation, impulsiveness, self-harm, or other risk behaviors. The Safety Partner helps patients maintain or enhance function during their hospital stay. Sentara CarePlex Hospital is a 224-bed acute care facility in Hampton, Virginia, and a Certified Primary Stroke Center. It offers heart and vascular and urologic services, advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities, a hospitalist program, and a busy emergency department. The hospital is also home to the Orthopedic Hospital at Sentara CarePlex Hospital. The role has a rotating work shift. The stated base pay range for full-time employment is $17.82–$25.65 per hour; additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonuses. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
