About The Position
Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring a Safety Partner for flexi evening work. The Safety Partner assists in providing a safe hospital environment conducive to individualized patient care. The role supports patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, agitation, impulsiveness, self-harm, or other risk behaviors, helping them maintain or enhance function during their hospital stay. Applicants without prior experience or current health sciences program status must successfully complete Sentara’s Safety Partner Training Course, in addition to core competencies during orientation. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Applicants without prior experience or current health sciences program status must successfully complete the Sentara Safety Partner Training Course and core competencies during orientation.
