About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Safety Partner for the Emergency Department. The role assists in providing a safe hospital environment that supports individualized patient care. It works with patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, agitation, impulsiveness, self-harm, or other risk behaviors, helping them maintain or enhance function during their hospital stay.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- No specific certification or licensure requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assist in providing a safe hospital environment conducive to individualized patient care.
- Support patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, agitation, impulsiveness, self-harm, or other risk behaviors.
- Enable patients to maintain or enhance function during their hospital stay.
