About The Position

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solves some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are seeking a Safety Lead to join our team in support of the Army TEN-M program. This program manages the development, engineering and safety for telecommunications towers, antennae and associated technologies in the Western US. This is a remote position and requires 25% to 50% travel; you must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major airport.

Requirements

BS/BA Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
10+ years of site safety experience and understanding of the duties as described above

Responsibilities

Ensures all safety standards are adhered to during site installation, and ensures all teams comply with local site policies and procedures.
Supports the development of the Safety Plan, updates to includes an site-specific safety requirements, and ensures it is being followed.
Prepares and submits accident reports as necessary.
