About The Position

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on commercial construction projects in Atlanta, Georgia. The role is responsible for ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe. The Safety Manager will oversee project safety activities, including subcontractor and contractor operations and work involving fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection, and excavation. Requirements

At least 7 years of direct construction safety experience.
Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

A degree in a safety-related field is preferred.
OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 is a plus.
CHST or CSP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project to ensure OSHA compliance.
Conduct daily safety meetings.
Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
Perform daily safety audits and inspections.
Oversee subcontractors and contractors.
Oversee fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection, and excavation.
