About The Position

The Runner delivers food to restaurant or dining-room patrons in a timely, professional, and efficient manner. The position is part time and located in Chicago, Illinois. The schedule varies by day, with shifts from 6:45 AM to 2:30 PM; further details are provided during the interview.

The role follows food sanitation and safety practices, supports customer satisfaction through interactions with patrons, and works with coworkers to meet company service standards. Associates may also complete assigned side work and other duties. The position requires previous high-volume dining and hospitality experience in a corporate environment.

Requirements

• Previous high-volume dining and hospitality experience in a corporate environment is required.
• Use medium-weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning a slicer.
• Use oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers, or steam tables.
• Wear slip-resistant shoes and use proper lifting techniques.
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
