About The Position

The Runner/Busser is responsible for providing exceptional service while keeping the customer supplied with appropriate dishware, flatware, food, beverage, and paper products. S/he is also responsible for keeping tables and other areas of the restaurant clean as assigned.

Requirements

• You must have a Real ID or a Passport to work at the Foundation and access the NARA building.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of server, runner or busser experience.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Ability to cope with varied and fast paced activities.

Responsibilities

• Keeps customers supplied with appropriate dishware, flatware, food, beverage and paper products.
• Removes dishes when appropriate; responds promptly to requests from guests while remaining customer service oriented; keeps all service areas clean as assigned.
• Maintains storage room supplies in an orderly fashion; performs other tasks as requested.
• Complies with all policies and standards/procedures applicable to the position, including attendance, time, quality control, and other standards.
