About The Position

The Routing and Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for daily scheduling, routing, and dispatching delivery drivers and service technicians at supported locations. The role uses route optimization software and collaborates with District Operations, Customer Experience teams, and regional leadership to develop efficient routes and schedules, meet or exceed operational metrics, and maintain exceptional customer service. The coordinator serves as a subject matter expert on routing infrastructure, scheduling optimization, field resource utilization, and related reporting tools and dashboards.

Requirements

• Prior experience with driver routing and/or technician dispatching.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems and translate data into actionable results.
• Detail-oriented problem-solving skills and high accuracy standards.
• Knowledge of safety and DOT protocols.
• Strong understanding of field operations and the ability to understand and relate technical requirements for service work.
• High school diploma.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations analysis, routing, logistics, technician scheduling, and/or dispatch.

• Associate degree.
• Multi-location routing and scheduling experience.
• Propane experience.
• Supervisor or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Use route optimization software to create efficient routes and schedules.
• Work with District Operations, Customer Experience teams, and regional leadership to meet or exceed operational metrics while maintaining customer service.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for route planning, scheduling optimization, field resource utilization, and associated reporting tools and dashboards.
• Balance operational efficiency with technician, driver, and customer needs.
• Identify and communicate downstream impacts of strategic decisions.
