Route Sales Representative/Driver
About The Position
Prudential Overall Supply is seeking motivated, customer-focused, sales-oriented Route Sales Representatives to deliver and pick up uniforms, towels, mats, and other rental products within an assigned territory. Representatives drive a company truck, provide timely deliveries, and build and maintain strong customer relationships. They identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services, which can earn route bonuses and commissions. The role requires safe, professional truck operation and compliance with federal and state vehicle regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday–Friday schedule and 40+ hour workweeks. It offers consistent hours, full-time benefits, and opportunities for stability and career growth. Requirements
- High school graduate.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Active driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Customer-service and sales-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Safe driving skills in all weather conditions.
- Must satisfy all customer-required background compliance criteria to maintain eligibility for the role.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
- Experience driving a box truck or step-van.
- Military-experienced candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company truck to pick up and deliver products and garments within an assigned territory.
- Ensure loads are accurate and properly prepared.
- Load and unload soiled and clean merchandise, handling carts carefully during transport.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
- Use company devices to manage customer orders, communicate invoice changes, and maintain an updated route book.
- Follow all federal and state vehicle regulations.
- Perform other duties as needed to support smooth route operations.
