Route Sales Person Runs through Metro Detroit
About The Position
Second Nature Brands is hiring a commission-based Route Sales Person to service an established and potential customer base, ensure product availability, and maximize sales opportunities on a designated route. The role is based at Kar’s Nuts Distributors in Madison Heights, Michigan, and the route runs through Novi, Wixom, Livonia, and surrounding areas. The primary goal is to meet or exceed sales targets while providing excellent customer service. The position requires keeping pace with the line and performing repetitive tasks. It is 100% commission-based and includes guaranteed training pay. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, with daily overtime and weekend work as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of previous sales experience.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid chauffeur driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move product inventory weighing up to 50 pounds.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work daily overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to keep pace with the line and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities
- Service and maintain a predefined established route, visiting customers regularly.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and address customer needs and concerns.
- Sell company products to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and merchandised for visibility.
- Monitor product freshness and quality, rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Collect customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and follow safety and maintenance protocols.
- Provide management with feedback about market trends, customer preferences, and competition.
