About The Position
Second Nature Brands is seeking a commission-based Route Sales Person to service an established and potential customer base, ensure product availability, and maximize sales opportunities along a designated route. The primary goal is to meet and exceed sales targets while providing excellent customer service. The route covers Novi, Wixom, Livonia, and surrounding areas. The position is based at Kar’s Nuts Distributors, 1671 East Lincoln, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday; candidates must be willing and able to work daily overtime and weekends as needed. The role is 100% commission-based, with guaranteed training pay. Success in this position requires the ability to keep pace with the line and perform repetitive tasks. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of previous sales experience.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid chauffeur driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move product inventory weighing up to 50 pounds.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to keep pace with the line and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness and ability to work daily overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain a predefined established route, visiting customers regularly.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Sell company products to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and merchandised for maximum visibility.
- Monitor product freshness and quality, rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Collect customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and follow safety and maintenance protocols.
- Provide management with feedback about market trends, customer preferences, and competition.
