About The Position

Signature Retail Services is hiring a part-time Route Merchandiser serving assigned stores in the Owings Mills, Maryland market, including stores in Owings Mills, Cockeysville, Westminster, Sykesville, Baltimore, Randallstown, Timonium, and Catonsville. The position is approximately 25–30 hours per week and pays $17.00–$19.00 per hour. The role involves keeping store shelves stocked, products organized, and displays customer-ready at leading home improvement retailers. Merchandisers work independently, follow client standards, and coordinate with store teams and SRS management. Paid on-the-job training is provided. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs. Signature Retail Services provides merchandising, construction, and fixture installation solutions for home improvement retailers including The Home Depot, Lowe's, and Ace Hardware. Employment is contingent on applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include background checks, motor vehicle record reviews, employment eligibility verification, and other position-specific screenings, as permitted by law.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have a valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle for travel, and proof of active auto insurance.
Have a personal smartphone with call, text, email, and internet access for daily reporting.
Be dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently to complete store visits on schedule.
Be highly comfortable using technology and mobile apps to complete daily work tasks and reporting.
Be detail-oriented and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to perform the physical tasks described, with or without reasonable accommodation: prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending and climbing ladders or rolling stairs; and lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 50 pounds.

Previous merchandising experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Travel to and service assigned stores throughout the Owings Mills market and nearby listed Maryland communities.
Carry out planograms, product resets, and seasonal sets according to client standards.
Install price labels, promotional materials, fixtures, and product displays.
Down-stock merchandise, replenish shelves, and keep displays organized and ready for customers.
Complete in-store survey audits to report completed work and project findings.
Serve as a product expert for store associates and customers.
Communicate regularly with store teams and SRS management so projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Identify and promptly report inventory issues, project concerns, or challenges to SRS management.
