About The Position

The Rooms Inventory Manager at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National manages room and function space inventory to support revenue and profitability. The role partners with Sales, Revenue Management, and hotel leadership to align pricing, availability, and restrictions with market demand and the resort’s strategy. It involves translating commercial strategies into accurate system settings, using Marriott revenue management systems and market data to assess performance, and advising leaders on demand trends and inventory opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage room availability, pricing structures, and restriction controls to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Translate sales and revenue strategies into system execution, accurately building and maintaining rates, packages, and inventory settings.
• Partner with Sales and Revenue leaders to align inventory decisions with group demand, transient opportunities, and market trends.
• Use Marriott revenue management systems and market data to analyze performance and identify opportunities to improve yield.
• Advise leaders as a subject matter expert on inventory strategy, demand trends, and opportunities to strengthen commercial performance.
