About The Position
McFarland Clinic is accepting applications for a Rooming Nurse (CMA/LPN) in its Fort Dodge office within Hematology/Oncology. The role supports patient care by completing pre-registration, rooming patients and preparing them for provider examinations, obtaining and documenting complete medical histories and current medications, assisting oncologists with oncologic procedures, and administering IM and SQ immunizations. The position offers competitive clinic pay and a benefits package. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with every other Wednesday off, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Pre-employment drug screening and criminal history background checks are conditions of hire.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Hold certification or registration from an approved Medical Assistant certifying organization (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA).
- Possess a State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Hold current Basic Life Support certification.
- Complete pre-employment drug screening and criminal history background checks as a condition of hire.
Nice To Haves
- McFarland Clinic experience is preferred.
- Two years of medical office experience is preferred.
- EHR experience.
Responsibilities
