About The Position
McFarland Clinic is accepting applications for a CMA/LPN in its Ames GI office. Candidates should be service-oriented, work well as part of a team, and provide extraordinary patient care. The role involves patient care, including rooming patients, handling phone calls and MyChart messages, and managing medication refills and prior authorizations. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Pre-employment drug screening and criminal history background checks are conditions of hire.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or an accredited school of nursing.
- Medical Assistant certification or registration from an approved certifying organization: AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA.
- Possess a State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Complete Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse requirements.
- Previous clinical nursing experience.
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal history background checks.
Responsibilities
