About The Position

Work with the Room Service Team to serve guests and ensure a positive guest experience. The role involves preparing and delivering food and beverage orders, amenities, and hospitality-suite service according to company standards and established procedures. The Room Service Server also maintains sanitation, completes assigned shift side work, responds to guest needs, and handles cash in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
• Ability to grasp, bend, lift, carry, move, or push goods on a cart weighing up to 100 pounds on a continuous schedule, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and company standards.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve food and beverage trays to maintain sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
• Service hospitality suites according to Banquet Event Orders and established policies and procedures.
• Complete shift side work as outlined in the hotel’s operating policies and procedures.
• Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales; report communications to the immediate shift supervisor.
• Perform cash-handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
