Room Service Server
About The Position
Work with the Room Service Team to serve guests and ensure a positive guest experience. Set up and deliver food and beverage orders, VIP amenities, and hospitality suite service according to company standards, established procedures, and Banquet Event Orders. Retrieve trays to maintain sanitation standards, complete assigned shift side work, respond to guest needs and feedback, report communications to the shift supervisor, and handle cash in accordance with company policies. Perform other assigned job-related duties and maintain regular attendance. Hotel experience is preferred. The role requires guest-facing communication and the ability to move goods and trays as described in the qualifications. The position is tipped/service-charge eligible and is not eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate well with guests.
- Ability to grasp, bend, lift, carry, move, or push goods on a cart weighing up to 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Responsibilities
- Set up and deliver food and beverage orders in accordance with company guidelines, procedures, and policies.
- Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve food and beverage trays to maintain sanitation guidelines.
- Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
- Service hospitality suites in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and established policies and procedures.
- Complete shift side work as outlined in hotel operating policies and procedures.
- Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales.
- Report communications to the immediate shift supervisor.
- Perform cash handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
