About The Position
As a Room Attendant on the Housekeeping team, you help make the hotel feel like home and create enjoyable, comfortable guest experiences. This is an active, high-energy role involving cleaning and preparing guest rooms, replenishing supplies, organizing housekeeping materials, and welcoming guests. The position requires schedule flexibility, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least one month of related experience.
- Passion for customer service.
- Ability to work seamlessly with others and collaborate within a diverse team.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform the physical activities described, including carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending or twisting, and climbing stairs.
Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
- Restock guest room supplies, including soap, shampoo, and coffee.
- Organize the linen closet and restock the cart before the end of each shift to prepare for the next day.
- Greet guests encountered during the shift with a friendly smile.
