About The Position

The Room Attendant performs cleaning duties to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and provide a memorable guest experience by anticipating guests’ needs and delivering exceptional service in support of Forbes 4-Star Standards. The employee receives daily stayover and checkout room assignments during morning standups and carries out room-cleaning and replenishment tasks. The role also includes reporting room deficiencies, maintaining safe work habits, and performing other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

Six months of related experience.
Open availability, including weekends and holidays.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work enthusiastically amid changing priorities.
Ability to work independently.
Must provide valid document(s) to work in the United States.
Must meet legal age requirements for the position.
Must speak and communicate in English and clearly communicate with guests, management, and coworkers.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

Obtain daily stayover and checkout room assignments during morning standups.
Make beds according to resort standards.
Replenish drinking glasses, writing supplies, towels, and other in-room amenities.
Sweep and clean floors and rugs to remove debris.
Dust and clean countertops, picture frames, upholstered furniture, windows, window shutters, walls, doors, and window sills.
Empty room trash and replace plastic bags.
Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and floors.
Report guest-room deficiencies to Housekeeping Management or Engineering.
Maintain punctual, regular, and reliable attendance.
Support safe work habits and a safe working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
