About The Position

Three Waters Resort & Marina, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Resort in Islamorada, Florida, is a 15-acre oceanfront property with 214 guest rooms, a marina, watersports, event venues, and culinary outlets. The Room Attendant helps deliver a comfortable and memorable guest stay by maintaining clean, tidy, and inviting guest rooms. The role is part of the resort’s housekeeping team and calls for attention to detail, energy, and a professional approach in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Room Attendant cleans and prepares guest rooms, makes beds and changes linens, replenishes room supplies, and cleans furnishings, fixtures, carpets, and floors. The position also involves reporting maintenance concerns, following health and safety protocols, and interacting positively and professionally with guests. This role may require working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
Attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms to high standards, with attention to cleanliness and detail.
Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are invitingly presented.
Replenish amenities, towels, and other supplies as needed.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
Vacuum and clean carpets and floors.
Report maintenance issues or damage to the appropriate department.
Follow established health and safety protocols.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
