About The Position

As a Room Attendant at My Place Hotel, you will help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property, contributing to guest satisfaction and service standards. The role includes cleaning guest rooms and public areas, maintaining supplies and equipment, reporting maintenance and safety issues, and handling room keys securely. The listed schedule is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms and public areas.
Change linens on every bed and inspect mattress pads, blankets, and bedspreads for cleanliness, stains, and tears; sort laundry as directed.
Remove used towels and replace them with clean ones.
Clean and sanitize bathroom vanities, toilets, bathtubs, mirrors, and floors.
Open guest room windows to allow fresh air in.
Vacuum guest rooms, hallways, and public area carpets; check behind and under furniture for trash and remove it.
Immediately report necessary repairs or maintenance issues in guest rooms to the maintenance team.
Perform assigned deep-cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas.
Securely handle the master key and any room keys collected during cleaning.
Restock and organize the room attendant cart and storage areas at the end of each shift.
Empty vacuum cleaners daily and take trash to the outside dumpster.
Immediately report potential safety or security hazards to management.
