About The Position

Room Attendants maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel and guest rooms while providing guests with quality service in a timely and friendly manner. They represent the hotel to guests and complete daily duties and assigned projects in accordance with Hulsing Hotels’ principles, policies, and standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or at least one year of previous experience as a room attendant or in a related field.
Team-oriented, empathetic, and friendly, with initiative.
Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel-related or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Know and comply with housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.
Remove and replace bed linen daily in checked-out rooms and remake beds and replace linen for stayover guests.
Clean guest rooms completely, including sweeping, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning carpets as needed.
Dust room furnishings and features, including picture frames, headboards, lamps, televisions and consoles, dressers, desks, air vents, windowsills, chairs, closets, and mirrors.
Leave each thoroughly cleaned room ready for inspection according to training.
Immediately turn in guest items left behind to the housekeeping manager.
Immediately inform the Executive Housekeeper or Room Inspector about damage or unusual conditions in a room.
Be professional, accommodating, helpful, and friendly in all guest interactions.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
