About The Position

Room Attendants maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel and guest rooms while providing guests with quality service in a timely and friendly manner. They represent the hotel to guests and complete daily duties and assigned projects in accordance with Hulsing Hotels’ principles, policies, and standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or at least one year of previous experience as a room attendant or in a related field.
Team-oriented, empathetic, and friendly, with initiative.
Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel-related or customer service experience is desired.

Responsibilities

Know and comply with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.
Remove and replace bed linen daily in checked-out rooms and remake beds and replace linen for stayover guests.
Clean rooms thoroughly, including sweeping, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning carpets as needed.
Dust room furniture and elements, including picture frames, headboards, lamps, TVs and consoles, dressers, desks, air vents, windowsills, chairs, closet areas, and mirrors.
Leave each room ready for inspection after cleaning it thoroughly.
Immediately turn in guest belongings left behind to the housekeeping manager.
Immediately inform the Executive Housekeeper or Room Inspector of damage or anything unusual found in a room.
Interact with guests professionally and be accommodating, helpful, and friendly.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect confidential proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
