About The Position

CentiMark Corporation is hiring an entry-level Roofing Technical Representative to support Sales Representatives in its Baton Rouge office. The role involves traveling to customer locations to inspect commercial roofs, communicating with customers about problem areas, and measuring roofs to estimate the roofing materials and labor needed for re-roofing. The representative works closely with the sales force to provide accurate information for customer proposals and assists with marketing for new accounts. CentiMark provides on-the-job training and opportunities to grow. Compensation is $60,000, increasing to $65,000 after the employee obtains a drone license.

Requirements

Demonstrate initiative, a good work ethic, and attention to detail.
General construction, roofing, and/or construction sales experience.
Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Ability to climb up and down ladders to a minimum height of 25 feet.

Nice To Haves

Experience with commercial roofing systems, including thermoplastic, BUR, metal, shingles, tile, SPF foam, and coatings; the company will train the right individual.
College degree in Construction Management or a similar field.

Responsibilities

Travel to customers’ locations and inspect commercial roofs.

Work closely with the sales force to provide accurate information for customer proposals.
