About The Position

CentiMark Corporation is hiring an entry-level Roofing Technical Inspector to support Sales Representatives in the greater Charleston area. The role involves traveling to customer locations to inspect commercial roofs, communicating with customers, identifying roof problem areas, measuring roofs, and estimating the materials and labor required for re-roofing. The inspector works closely with the sales force to provide accurate information for customer proposals. Occasional overnight travel during the week is required.

Requirements

Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and bid estimating software.
General construction, roofing, and/or construction sales experience.
A valid driver’s license in good standing.
Ability to climb up and down ladders to heights of at least 25 feet.

Nice To Haves

Experience with commercial roofing systems, including thermoplastic, BUR, metal, shingles, tile, SPF foam, and coatings; training may be provided to the right candidate.
A college degree in Construction Management or a similar field.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations and inspect commercial roofs.
Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas.
Measure commercial roofs and estimate the roofing materials and labor needed for re-roofing.
Work closely with Sales Representatives to provide accurate information for customer proposals.
