About The Position

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is hiring a commission-only Roofing Sales Representative as a 1099 independent contractor. The representative sells residential roofing, gutter, and siding repair and replacement services to homeowners. The role includes paid training bonuses and a path to increased commission, a company truck, and potential Project Manager and leadership roles based on results. There is no base salary or hourly wage, and no fee, inventory, leads, or starter kit must be purchased to join. The work centers on meeting homeowners through door-to-door outreach in local neighborhoods, as well as referrals and company-provided leads. Door-to-door outreach is a core part of the role. Representatives inspect and document roof, gutter, and siding damage, guide homeowners through the insurance claim process, prepare and present proposals, and coordinate projects from signed agreement through completion and payment. The job requires outdoor work, climbing ladders, walking roofs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
Have a reliable vehicle capable of carrying a ladder.
Have a smartphone.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Be comfortable working outdoors, climbing a ladder, and walking a roof.

Nice To Haves

Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable talking with homeowners.
Prior experience in sales, retail, restaurants, the military, or sports; people new to sales and ready to learn are also encouraged.
A clean driving record; company trucks may be available to drivers age 21 or older.

Responsibilities
