Roofing Consultant
About The Position
An industry-leading construction and forensic consulting firm is seeking a Roofing Consultant for its California office. The role contributes to the firm’s comprehensive approach to forensic investigation in construction and construction-related claims and litigation. The consultant conducts site investigations and reporting, performs cost estimating, participates in mediations and depositions, and provides expert testimony in a wide range of cases. The role works collaboratively with General Contractors, Certified Cost Estimators, Architects, Engineers, and Paralegal/Project Managers. Travel is required.
Requirements
- 15 or more years of roofing or contracting experience.
- A roofing license.
- Willingness to travel.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly desired.
- Forensic consulting experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations and prepare reports.
- Perform cost estimating.
- Participate in mediations and depositions.
- Provide expert testimony in a wide range of cases.
- Collaborate with General Contractors, Certified Cost Estimators, Architects, Engineers, and Paralegal/Project Managers.
