Pressroom - Roll Tender
About The Position
The Roll Tender supports the printing process by helping ensure efficient production and quality while working with a dedicated team. The position includes paid training and opportunities for career growth. Work is scheduled in 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on a 2-2-3 rotation. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour for day shift, with a 7% night-shift premium. The role is located at either the North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street or the South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The company provides tools and reimburses up to $100 for safety shoes and $100 for safety glasses. The posting also describes a team-oriented environment and two weeks of vacation. Internal applicants must be in good standing and have no active disciplinary actions.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
- Ability to stand for the entire 12-hour shift.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret job tickets.
- Identify and select the correct paper for each job.
- Check folds on newly printed forms.
- Assist with setup and make-ready tasks.
- Conduct quality inspections.
- Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed.
