About The Position
The Stacker Operator works in a team-based manufacturing environment, operating and monitoring stackers, industrial robots, and robotic palletizers to support a safe and efficient workflow. The role includes hands-on training and opportunities to advance a manufacturing career. The position is based at the North or South Plant in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and follows consistent 12-hour day or night shifts on a four-days-on, four-days-off schedule. Starting pay is $22.00–$27.40 per hour for day shift, with a 7% night-shift premium.
Requirements
- Ability to conduct frequent quality checks and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and take on challenges.
- Ability to lift and carry 20–60 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally with assistance.
- Ability to stand for the entire 12-hour shift.
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform safety inspections and operate equipment according to established procedures.
- Set up machines for the next print run.
- Monitor two stackers, two industrial robots, and one robotic palletizer.
- Assist with machine printing functions as needed.
- Conduct frequent quality checks to maintain production standards.
- Perform assigned bi-weekly maintenance tasks.
