About The Position

This position is part of Western Midstream’s Engineering and Operations team and is located in The Woodlands, Texas. The ROC Data Capture Specialist works in the Remote Operations Center control room. The role is responsible for entering compressor runtime data, reporting safety and environmental incidents, dispatching resources, and assisting with call management, including customer notifications. The position follows a 12-hour, seven-days-on/seven-days-off schedule and requires 0–10% travel.

Requirements

• One year of experience in oil field production operations.
• Basic knowledge of oil and gas operations, including compression, pipelines, and SWD.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP PM, Cygnet, Fleetmatics, and I Maps.
• Good time-management, communication, and people skills.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively across cross-functional groups.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Ironsight dispatching applications.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and enforce applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist in maintaining operational reporting, activity logs, status reports, and safety and environmental incident reporting.
• Communicate daily with operators, supervisors, marketing, commercial development, and customers.
• Generate notifications and/or work orders for resource dispatching.
• Actively participate in the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental culture.
• Accomplish job responsibilities and duties in accordance with WES Core Values.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
