About The Position

A Roadshow Setup Crew Member supports MDX Global promotional events by physically setting up and tearing down displays and equipment for 10-day roadshows. This part-time, on-call role is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and can adapt to changing schedules.

The position involves loading and unloading equipment, products, and display materials; assembling and arranging booths, tables, signage, and promotional displays according to company instructions; and dismantling, packing, and preparing materials for transport. Crew members also take and submit inventory counts, restock as needed, inspect and maintain displays, keep setup areas clean and organized, assist with last-minute adjustments, and communicate professionally with vendors and MDX employees. Compensation is on a piece-rate basis.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Dependability and teamwork skills to work effectively with other crew members.
• Attention to detail to ensure displays meet company standards.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as roadshow schedules vary.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel to event sites.

Responsibilities

• Move equipment, products, and display materials into and out of event venues.
• Assemble and arrange booths, display tables, signage, and promotional displays according to company instructions.
• Dismantle displays at the end of each roadshow, pack materials, move display pallets, and prepare items for transport.
• Take and submit accurate inventory counts and restock as needed.
• Inspect displays for damage and repair, replace, or reset display boxes as needed to maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the setup area and assist with last-minute adjustments during setup or teardown.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and MDX employees to maintain strong working relationships and coordinate setup and teardown.
