About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Banquet Setup/Breakdown attendant at the La Quinta Resort and Club. The role helps prepare banquet and meeting spaces for events and clears and tears down rooms after functions. The attendant also cleans and refreshes meeting rooms, handles event materials, supports table service, and works with hotel teams to help provide an exceptional guest experience. This is an on-call position with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is $16.90 per hour.

Requirements

• Able to remain on their feet throughout a shift, with intermittent walking and stair climbing.
• Able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds at shoulder height and up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, squat, push, and pull frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and arrange conference equipment in meeting rooms according to event orders and Conference Services management standards.
• Thoroughly clean classrooms, ballrooms, and team rooms; remove trash and restock meeting-room supplies.
• Refresh meeting rooms during meal and coffee breaks.
• Complete special projects as directed by department management.
• Move convention materials, such as boxes and programs, from receiving docks, registration areas, guest rooms, or suites.
• Bus and reset tables as needed.
• Resolve guest issues and create an exceptional guest experience.
• Communicate and maintain positive relationships with culinary and stewarding staff.
• Maintain awareness of functions, events, and meetings taking place.
