About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking an RN for its Emergency Department. The role is responsible for daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of patient care with nursing staff and other health care professionals. The RN is accountable for ensuring effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care, and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. The role also ensures that variations based on patients' individual needs are justified and well documented, and assists with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.

Requirements

• One year of RN acute care or hospital experience.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Licensed as required by the West Virginia State Board of Nursing.
