About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The RN plans, coordinates, and monitors daily patient care in collaboration with nursing staff and other health care professionals. The role is accountable for effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care, and achieving outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. The RN ensures that variations in care based on individual patient needs are justified and well documented, and assists with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in West Virginia or a valid compact-state nurse license.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing experience is preferred but not required.
