About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse to join the Edith Sanford Breast Center clinic team. The RN answers patient inquiries by telephone, assesses symptom severity and medical needs using triage algorithms, and collaborates with providers to guide patients to the appropriate level of care. The role involves phone and MyChart communication, patient and family education, nursing assessment, and adherence to triage protocols. The team offers specialized onboarding and on-the-job training in a supportive, patient-centered, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice occurs, and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• For telephone nursing practice, hold licensure in the states where the patients being served reside.
• Complete all requirements to obtain the license needed for the role within the first 30 days of employment.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including AACN-, ACEN-, or NLN CNEA-accredited programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• One year of healthcare experience.
