About The Position

Lafayette Manor, a nursing home providing nursing, rehabilitation, and nursing-centered care, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor to join its collaborative team. The role is on the first shift, 7 AM to 7 PM. The RN Supervisor supports resident care and supervises day-to-day nursing activities in a supportive, team-based environment focused on teamwork, integrity, respect, and empowerment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion when working with geriatric patients.

Nice To Haves

Nursing experience in a long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper medical management of each resident.
Serve as a liaison among physicians, hospitals, family members, and other medical personnel to ensure each resident’s plan of care is followed.
Make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status.
Direct day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care facilities.
Supervise nursing service personnel and ensure medication passes and scheduled treatments are administered as ordered by physicians.
Think independently, supervise staff, and work as a team member for the benefit of residents.
