About The Position

The RN Supervisor oversees nursing services for an assigned unit, supports quality resident care and regulatory compliance, and helps foster a supportive, collaborative environment. The role includes planning, organizing, and directing nursing services; coordinating resident care; and guiding staff development and documentation quality. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
At least 2 years of direct-care experience as an RN in long-term, restorative, or geriatric settings.
At least 1 year of nursing management experience.
Current CPR certification.
Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice, meeting state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct nursing services for the unit while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
Make staffing assignments and encourage professional development.
Review documentation for quality and accuracy.
Oversee resident assessments and ensure adequate supplies.
Address grievances and report them to the Director of Nursing in a timely manner.
