About The Position

iCare Health Network is hiring an RN Supervisor for 60 West, a Five Star facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. 60 West serves residents with a range of backgrounds and needs, and focuses on innovation and improving patient care and the resident experience. The facility has received U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Home recognition for 2018–2019 and 2019–2020, as well as an AHCA Silver Quality Award. The RN Supervisor provides daily supervision and coordinates patient care in assigned units, overseeing licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel in the Nursing Department. The role maintains overall responsibility for resident assessments and recognizes and reports changes in residents’ conditions to the attending physician. This is a part-time Baylor Supervisor position working weekends from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The employer describes compensation as experience-based and mentions health benefits, shift differentials, and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Requirements

Current, active State of Connecticut RN license.
Current CPR certification.
Current IV certification.
At least 2 years of increased-responsibility experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor in long-term care and/or a rehabilitation facility.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor’s or associate degree in a health-related field is preferred.
Experience in Staff Development, Infection Control, or MDS is a plus but not required.
