About The Position

Responsible for assisting the Director/Manager through supervising the day to day department activities. Assist in facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating unit activities for the provision of quality patient care within the framework of the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health. Serve as a mentor and team lead for the staff.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Nursing required
4 years of Staff Nurse experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Active RN licensure required
BLS required
ACLS required
PALS required within 6 months in role

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
2 years of Staff Nurse experience in the department

Responsibilities

Knowledge of Trauma/ED standards of care practices and procedures, for the ED Shift supervisor.

Ability to effectively communicate to patients, guest, and coworkers.
Ability to coordinate the activities of those persons supervised.
