About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Respiratory unit (3 East) in Zanesville, Ohio. The RN will primarily work on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID patients, but may also float to various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and assist with ED/Med-Surg boarders. The role requires 36 hours per week on the night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with every other weekend required. There is no call requirement.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license.
• Active BLS certification.
• Current Epic EMR proficiency (refresher classes or 1:1 support are not options).
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
• Ability to read Telemetry (will be tested on day one and terminated if competency is not passed).
• Must be Epic proficient (will be terminated if not).

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on the Respiratory unit (where COVID patients are admitted).
• Float occasionally between various Med-Surg units (Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg boarders, etc.).
• Work night shift (7p - 7:30a).
• Work every other weekend.
• Read Telemetry.
