About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) primarily working on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID patients. The RN may also float to various Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. The role requires 36 hours per week on the night shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM), with every other weekend required. There is no call requirement.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license.
• BLS/BCLS certification.
• Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or 1:1 training are not options).
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
• Ability to read Telemetry (will be tested on day one and terminated if unable to pass competency).
• Must be Epic proficient (will be terminated if not).

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on the Respiratory unit (where COVID patients are admitted).
• May float occasionally between various Med-Surg units (Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, etc.).
• Work night shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM).
• Work every other weekend.
• Read Telemetry.
