About The Position

The RN will work primarily on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID patients, but may also float occasionally between various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders. This is a 36 hours/week position on the day shift (7a - 7:30p) with every third weekend required. There is no call requirement.

Requirements

• Current Epic EMR proficiency is required.
• Active BLS and Ohio RN license are both required.
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is required.
• Must be able to read Telemetry; will be tested for this skill on day one and will be terminated if they cannot pass the competency.
• Will also be terminated if we discover they are not Epic proficient.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on the Respiratory unit (where COVID patients are admitted).
• Float occasionally between various Med-Surg units (Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg boarders, etc.).
