Ohio - RN Respiratory/3 West - Day Shift - Zanesville (Replacement for Khadija's B)
About The Position
This is a full-time, 36 hours/week RN position on the 3 West Comprehensive Medical Unit in Zanesville, Ohio. The RN will primarily work on this unit but will occasionally float between various Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. The position requires day shift work with every other weekend coverage. There is no call requirement. Current Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory and will be verified. Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is required, including the ability to read Telemetry, as this skill will be tested on the first day. Failure to demonstrate proficiency in either Epic or Telemetry reading will result in termination.
Requirements
- Active BLS/BCLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
- Ability to read Telemetry (will be tested on day one).
- Current Epic EMR proficiency (must be documented in referral information).
Responsibilities
- Work primarily on the 3 West Comprehensive Medical Unit.
- Occasionally float between various Med-Surg units (Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, etc.).
- Provide nursing care on day shift.
- Work every other weekend.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading Telemetry.
- Utilize Epic EMR system proficiently.
