Ohio - RN - 1S Observation Evening Shift - Zanesville - (replacing Chelsie M.)
About The Position
The RN will primarily work on the 1S Observation unit but will also be required to float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the ED as well if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable. This is a 36 hours/week, evening shift (7p- 7:30a) position with every other weekend required. Taking call would be a very rare occurrence. Current Epic EMR proficiency is required. Active BLS and ACLS are both required. Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med Surg experience is required, including the ability to read Telemetry/BCRA. Candidates will be tested for this skill on day one and will be immediately terminated if they cannot pass the competency. They will also be immediately terminated if it is discovered they are not Epic proficient.
Requirements
- Current Epic EMR proficiency.
- Active BLS and ACLS.
- Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med Surg experience.
- Ability to read Telemetry/BCRA (will be tested on day one).
- Proficiency in Telemetry/BCRA skills (will be tested on day one and immediately terminated if not passed).
- Epic proficiency (will be immediately terminated if not proficient).
