About The Position

Genesis Healthcare System is a Level 3 Trauma Center with a 260-bed capacity, serving semi-complex patients with multiple orthopedic and internal injuries. The role involves working with diagnoses including Neurosurgical, Neurological, Cardiovascular (including CABG patients), general surgery, and medically complex/intubated patients in Critical Care. The primary patient age group is Adult/Geriatric and young adult. Familiarity with Orthopedics/Joint Replacement post-operative surgery patients is preferred.

Requirements

• Ohio license and registry required (cannot be in process).
• BLS required.
• 2 years' Acute Care experience preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to inpatient adult/geriatric and young adult patients.
• Work with patients with multiple orthopedic and internal injuries.
• Treat patients with Neurosurgical, Neurological, Cardiovascular (including CABG patients), general surgery, and medically complex/intubated patients in Critical Care.
• Provide care for Orthopedics/Joint Replacement post-operative surgery patients.
• Cover weekend shifts as scheduled.
