The RN will work primarily on the Respiratory unit, where COVID patients are admitted, and may occasionally float to other Medical-Surgical units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Medical-Surgical boarders. The position is 36 hours per week on the night shift, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every other weekend required. There is no call requirement. Current Epic EMR proficiency is required, with no refresher classes or one-on-one assistance available. The nurse must have an active BLS certification and an Ohio RN license, plus at least three years of current or recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience. Telemetry-reading ability will be tested on the first day; failure to pass the competency, or discovery of insufficient Epic proficiency, will result in termination. Unless the RN is a returning Genesis traveler from within the last nine months, the start date is November 16, with no exceptions.
