About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is primarily assigned to the Respiratory unit, which admits patients with COVID-19. The RN may also float among Medical-Surgical units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders. The schedule is night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday coverage required. There is no on-call requirement.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 3 years of current or recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience.
• Proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR), documented and verified.
• Ability to read Telemetry; competency will be assessed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, with a focus on respiratory conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed to support patient care delivery.
